We&rsquo\;d like to inform you that the Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce &\; Visitor Center is strategically organizing a more robust\, well-planned\, and successfully executed family of programs and events for the coming year. Our goal is to make our programs and Signature Events bigger\, better\, unique\, &ldquo\;can&rsquo\;t miss&rdquo\; events. We want everyone who attends to have great fun and enjoy a memorable experience.

It is in that spirit\, that we inform you that the Windsor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and team has made the difficult decision to suspend the Windsor Oktoberfest event this year that was scheduled for September 21\, 2024. This year&rsquo\;s event will not take place\, but watch for great things to come next year.

We understand that this news may catch you by surprise\, as events such as Oktoberfest\, are cherished in our community. However\, we believe that this decision is necessary in order to ensure a great event for everyone. A community event like this takes a year to effectively plan\, prepare and execute to be truly successful. This years Oktoberfest did not meet our standards to create the event that we want and more importantly\, the community experience that you deserve. If you going to do it\, do it right. Look for big things coming from us in 2025!

After careful consideration\, we have determined that taking a pause on the Oktoberfest event will allow us to thoroughly review our event strategy and reimagine experiences that will best serve our Chamber business partners and the broader Windsor community moving forward.

Please be assured that the Windsor Chamber remains deeply committed to supporting local businesses and fostering a vibrant\, connected community. In the coming months\, we will be engaging with our business partners to gather feedback and ideas that will inform the development of new event concepts\, programs\, and initiatives.

The Ugly Sweater Wine Walk\, a Signature Chamber Event\, is moving full steam ahead. Save the date of Saturday\, November 16\, 2024 (5-8pm) for this wildly popular community event that always sells out very quickly. Details will be found on WindsorChamber.net. Join us for this holiday tradition!
